Linde - President of Linde Enterprises, Inc. since 1996, has served the family-owned business for all of its 40 years, joining LEI full-time upon completing his education (B.S., Commerce, Rider College, 1971). Under his leadership, LEI's annual volume has reached $30 million, with an average employment of more than 250 people and a $20 million state-of-the-art construction fleet.  In addition to establishing LEI as the region's premier high-technology utility and heavy construction contractor, he has made his passion for environmental preservation a company hallmark.  Recipient of several regional conservation and river stewardship awards, he is affiliated with numerous environmental and construction industry associations.

Barbara J. Linde - Secretary of Linde Enterprises, Inc. since 1982, held positions in finance at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Benton, Bowles in Manhattan before returning to her hometown to undertake leadership of the family business. Hands-on manager in both field and office, she is also professionally involved in landscape design and implementation. she furthers LEI's commitment to environmental protection and beautification, ensuring fulfillment of company pledges to industrial and environmental goals and organizations. She earned her M.S. in accounting at New York University; her AA in education at Keystone College and her BA in religious studies at Lafayette College. 

Robert L. Hessling - LEI Treasurer/Controller, also serves on the company's board of directors.  Responsible for day-to-day financial management at LEI since 1984, he has instituted state-of-the-art systems and procedures in all departments to ensure sound and cost-effective business practices.  A graduate of Wilkes College (B.S., Accounting), he came to the Linde family business from his own family's business, bringing a special understanding of the pledge to quality implicit in the family name.

Langel - as the Executive Vice-President, Chris has the overall responsibility for engineering and construction.  He oversees all aspects of the bidding process, reviews and approves contracts, ensures smooth operation of actual construction activities through completion.  This includes procurement, submittals and scheduling while supervising construction management.  Responsibilities include exploring and generating new business opportunities for LEI as well as maintaining current levels.   A Linde employee since 1995, Chris is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University (B.S., Civil Engineering).(B.S., Civil Engineering).   

Robert M. McGraw - as Vice President of the Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Divisions, oversees field construction activities and project administration.  Bob’s division also includes the specialty of trench less technology, directional drilling as well as pipe ramming and traditional auger boring. A career construction industry employee and a member of the LEI family since 1985, Bob has also had experience with utility and heavy construction projects. heavy construction projects.

Paul Fedor -  Vice President of Maintenance , ensures that Linde's $20 million fleet of sophisticated construction equipment is kept in peak operating condition.  He supervises work at Linde's two maintenance and support facilities and at project sites, directing more than 30 skilled employees in all facets of field and long-term repairs-from daily computerized repair logs, to engine and mechanical work, hydraulic and electrical system repairs, body work, parts, painting, servicing, welding and fabricating, plumbing, and inventory.  He has served LEI since 1988.

Thomas Horan -Vice President of Site Development  - Tom has been with LEI since 1990 and is responsible for project planning, supervision of foremen and field personnel, scheduling of subcontractors and equipment, adherence to budget, and coordination with corporate management.  Tom has delivered on time, quality site projects to clients such as Lowes, Wal-Mart and Maytag during his Linde career.  

John Padavan - as Vice President of the Gas and Water Division, John directs operations and supervises all aspects of utility installations and improvements. This responsibility includes planning, allocating personnel, budget accountability, and coordination with local authorities and utility owners.   Under his leadership, LEI crews have completed a multitude of projects for PG Energy, PA American Water, Aqua Pennsylvania and PP&L Utilities as well as a myriad of other rural and municipal utility owners.  Specialty projects include installations of high pressure steel gas pipelines using computer-guided directional drilling technology as well as the installation of cross country environmentally challenging gas lines.  His career with LEI began in 1984.

Orville Hunter joined LEI as Project Superintendent in August of 2002 with over thirty years of experience in electrical/mechanical construction.  This work  encompassed all types of electrical work, treatment plants, and pump station installations and upgrades.  Orville has recently embarked on a new endeavor for Linde Enterprises, Inc. in seeking to provide mechanical/electrical expertise as a service to municipal, private and commercial owners of treatment plants, pump stations and the like.

Ed Bernard with a  BS degree in Safety Science coupled with over thirteen years of continuous employment in the safety field, Ed fills the very important role at LEI of Safety Manager.  His responsibilities include working between Ownership, Management and Labor to ensure a safe working environment for all employees by initiating and enforcing the LEI Company safety programs at every job site.  He also facilitates Linde crew interaction with the general public and governmental monitoring agencies.  Ed is given full support of Ownership and Management to perform his duties.  Please see our Safety page for a further listing of Ed’s credentials.
